TALLER INTENSIVO DE DIBUJO - EL GESTO PROPIO

Un taller de 4 encuentros presenciales en el cual experimentamos con distintas técnicas de dibujo.
El objetivo es incorporar nociones y conceptos a través de la práctica que permitan empezar a constuir una poética propia y desarrollar la creatividad.
INTENSIVE DRAWING WORKSHOP - A GESTURE OF ONE'S OWN

A four-session in-person group workshop to experiment with different drawing techniques.
The goal is to incorporate notions and concepts through practice, allowing participants to begin developing their own artistic vision.
PROGRAMA
ENCUENTRO 1 - TRAZO: línea sensible y trazo constructivo.
ENCUENTRO 2 - MANCHA: pincelada única y bosquejo de rostro.
ENCUENTRO 3 - TEXTURA: huella material y espacio plástico.
ENCUENTRO 4 - CONSTRUCCIÓN: poética personal y dibujo negativo.
SESSION 1 - LINE: sensitive line and constructive marks.
SESSION 2 - BRUSHSTROKE: single brushstroke and face sketch.
SESSION 3 - TEXTURE: material imprint and pictorial space.
SESSION 4 - CONSTRUCTION: personal poetics and negative drawing.
CARACTERÍSTICAS
- El taller está dirigido a toda persona mayor de 18 años, con o sin experiencia artística, que desee explorar las posibilidades que ofrece el dibujo como medio expresivo. + INFO
- Al tipo de dibujo que trabajamos en el taller lo denomino intuitivo. + INFO
- Los contenidos del taller se basan en la práctica como puerta de acceso a la creatividad y las habilidades técnicas. + INFO
- Los ejercicios presentados buscan incentivar el desarrollo del estilo y universo personal de cada participante. + INFO
- Experimentaremos con lápices, pasteles, carbonilla, tinta y témpera.
- Usaremos una variedad de papeles para probar distintas superficies.
- Habrá textos de arte para leer (en formato fotocopia).
- Luego de cada encuentro les envío un punteo con todo lo visto en la jornada.
- El espacio ofrece café, té, agua mineral y agua caliente gratis.
- Cada encuentro tiene una duración de 2 horas y media.
- Se aconseja llevar ropa cómoda y acorde con la actividad que incluye materiales que pueden manchar.
- No es posible recuperar la clase, en caso de ausencia, debido a que el tiempo y el espacio cedidos al taller son limitados. Para compensar, envío material extra por email, junto con el punteo, para realizar las tareas por cuenta propia.
FEATURES
- The workshop is open to anyone over the age of 18—with or without artistic experience—who wishes to explore the possibilities of drawing as a means of expression.
- I refer to the type of drawing we practice in the workshop as intuitive drawing.
- The workshop content is based on practice as a gateway to creativity and technical skills.
- The exercises are designed to encourage the development of personal style and artistic universe.
- We experiment with pencils, pastels, charcoal, ink, and tempera.
- We use a variety of papers to test different surfaces.
- There will be texts on art to read (provided as photocopies, in Spanish).
- After each session, I send a summary of everything covered during the class.
- The venue provides complimentary coffee, tea, bottled water, and hot water.
- Each session lasts two and a half hours.
- It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing suitable for the activity, as the materials used may stain.
- Missed classes cannot be compensated as the time and space allocated for the workshop are limited. I email extra material—along with the session summary—so you can work on the exercises independently.

I teach this workshop once a year at a location in Palermo district. All materials are included and the capacity is limited thus the importante to book a place in advance.
